Being a small-scale breeder, we do not always have puppies available for sale. Some large operations are able to maintain "inventory," but we only have puppies once or twice a year. Our puppies are worth waiting for! We pour everything we have into raising our puppies. They are our primary focus from right before they're born until they go home. They receive age-appropriate vet care as well as early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction (ENS/ESI), and a curriculum for upbringing that is on par with many service dog programs. We also emphasize socialization to new experiences and surfaces. Our world revolves around these puppies while they're here, and once they go home, we are still here for them! We offer ongoing support through training and socialization classes, boarding and daycare, and virtually for our long-distance or very busy clients who can't come to us in person easily.
Please contact us with questions and consider getting on our waiting list for future litters.
All of our puppies are raised on our curriculum for upbringing including Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction as well as other developmentally appropriate exposures to novel items and different types of surfaces and people.

I've met and loved many dogs along the way, and I really admire the personalities, intelligence, and allergy friendly coats I've found in most doodles. I love the temperament of golden retrievers, but my allergies are triggered by their coat. I love poodles for their brilliant minds, versatility, athletic bodies, and their coats do not trigger my allergies. The combination of these breeds tends to make dogs who are funny, sweet, smart, and the usually don't trigger my allergies (although when they roll in something else I'm allergic to, it definitely can cause flares in my sensitive skin). I've had the pleasure of boarding, training and socializing with many poodles and doodles. They're eager to please most of the time, and they love to be told what a good dog they are. This is why our Doodle Romps are such a success. Everyone loves to be surrounded by nice fun dogs!
My first favorite doodle (ChaseyPoo in white) was a boarding guest who I did some board and train work with before his family moved away. I'd hoped to help him fit their lives better. Through a tragic twist of fate, after my heart dog died, I reached out to his family (who had long since moved away) to find out where they bought him, and I found out that they'd purchased him at a now closed local pet store, but they were looking to rehome him! Well hallelujah he found his home right back here, and he's everything that's amazing about doodles and dogs in general. I couldn't be more grateful to his family who was willing to go out of their way to make me and Chase very happy for the rest of his life. Right after he was certified as a Therapy Dog with Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Chase was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (March of 2019), and had his leg amputated right away and started chemotherapy. We were blessed with 20 months of jeep rides and therapy dog visits after his amputation. This dog changed my life for the better in so many ways, and his impact will be felt forever.
Our dogs were selected for their temperament, health, and coat type associated with decreased shedding and allergies (although any dog can trigger allergies in someone allergic to them). All have had DNA tests through Embark Vet. All have had their hips checked via X-ray. Their coat tests indicate that their puppies will not shed much or be likely to trigger allergies. All of our dogs receive ongoing training and social opportunities, and they all love to learn and live to please.
Bertha walks on clouds with the greatest prance, and she's a good time all the time. The personality of this girl is PERFECT! She will happily play ball until you're sick of throwing for her. She's never met a creature she didn't like regardless of the species. Bertha is full of kisses and never wants to disappoint. This makes her a great Therapy Dog. She's my favorite, and I'm not ashamed to say so. She's also an amazing mother, and it's been an honor to watch my baby with her babies!
Delilah is the pretty one, but she's more than a pretty face. She came from a highly respected breeder in Delaware. Her mother is a hunting dog, and even hunted while pregnant with her litter! Maybe that's why Delilah sniffs out critters and retrieves like a sporting dog. She's brilliant, bold, sassy, and loves to play with other dogs. Delilah is a great frisbee player and is also very alert and a good watch dog. She makes me laugh with her antics and can be very affectionate as well. She's an amazing pet, but she's an even more amazing mother. Many of her puppies are working service dogs, therapy dogs, or in breeding programs with other service dog programs.
Samson is a dog I've been looking for since I met Delilah. After more than a year of searching for a dog who met all my criteria, I wondered if this was too good to be true, or if he could be the unicorn I'd been hunting for. A friend/colleague happened to live in Alabama at a military working dog facility, and she was willing to check out the breeder, assess the puppy, and then house him while I figured out how to get him home. Everyone loved him there, even though he stood out like a sore thumb around the German Shepherds and Malinois at the facility. So much so, that the friend that picked him up for me is now a poodle breeder who runs her own top-notch service dog program!! Samson is a gentle giant with a knack for knowing when people "need him" and providing them with his signature lean. He prances around making friends everywhere he goes. Samson is an old soul- sweet, gentle, and just everything we love in a pet dog. He's easy to train and easier to live with. Everyone who meets Samson says the same thing: "There's something special about this dog!" Samson enjoys visiting the library, schools, and assisted living facilities as a Therapy Dog.
Sugar Magnolia is the sweetest goldendoodle. She is a fantastic therapy dog, a very attentive mother, and an absolute joy to live with. She is our largest female with the heaviest build, but she jumps fences and climbs trees for fun sometimes. Sugar also enjoys swimming and stuffed animals. Sugar has a very soft temperament, and she loves to bring rags and shoes to us. She leaves most of the ball playing to her sister, Bertha, though.
Rogue is one of Delilah's puppies (with a sire from an outside program) who is all grown up now. She's been Robbie's best friend and favorite dog since birth. She loves visiting assisted living facilities as much as she enjoys long walks in the park and chewing. Rogue also happens to be the mother of several service dogs in training from her litter with Samson 11/2023.
Stella Blue is from our friends at Above The Standard (The service dog breeding and training program referenced throughout this website). She is not just beautiful, she's funny, playful, and just plain fun to be around.
Bruno is a funny name for a gorgeous girl, but we initially didn't talk about her, and her nickname became her real name. We didn't talk about Bruno, because she was one of ten puppies born to a breeder who had a Samson x Delilah puppy. This breeder had become overwhelmed, so we were fortunate enough to get all of "our" dogs out of her home and into fantastic homes and working roles. From the moment we laid eyes on Bruno, we knew she was staying, but we didn't announce our intentions right away. Bruno is a very special dog, and it's been obvious since the day we met her that she is born to be a therapy dog.
Fifi is also a granddaughter of Samson and Delilah. She's tall and gorgeous; sometimes we call her a baby giraffe due to her looooong legs and goofy run. Fifi is still young, but she really enjoys playing with the puppies who come for training as well as in the daycare program Sierra runs here.
June is a mini goldendoodle from Stay Golden in Hammonton. We've had the privilege of boarding some of the moms and doing temperament evaluations on some of the litters of puppies from their program, so we knew that they had delightful dogs. Fortunately, in Summer's last litter, there was a puppy once reserved by a breeder available at the last minute. She had to be ours! She was even born on Casey's birthday! June loves children and being the center of attention. She is a fabulous therapy dog, and a wonderful lap dog. She's often a favorite of our guests whether because she does the agility obstacles with ease or because she's so cuddly.
Rufus is a mini poodle from the same breeder as Samson! Once again Emily from Above The Standard captured our unicorn for us and transported him to NJ from his breeder in Alabama. What would we do without her?? Not have the best boys- that's what! For years we have looked for a smaller poodle who has long legs, great health, and solid temperament. This is a tall order for many reasons, but luck was on our side when the perfect puppy became available when his original buyer had a change of heart before bringing him home. Their loss is truly our gain! Rufus is a riot. He's a little circus dog who loves to learn to do tricks and loves to be with his family. Although he is the smallest member of our family, he holds his own with the big dogs, and he has enough personality to offset his lack of mass.
There will be update as the dogs grow and accomplish things over time. Feel free to stay tuned to our Instagram page @CrotchfeltDogs and our Facebook Page for the kennel will also feature them on an ongoing basis as they're part of everything we do here.
